Maternity sessions are typically scheduled between 28–34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully round but you’re still feeling comfortable enough to move with ease.
2. Styling That Feels Like You
While I don’t offer a client closet, I do provide detailed styling guidance to help you choose something that photographs beautifully and feels authentic to you.
For my light and airy style, I recommend:
- Soft neutrals and muted tones
- Flowy dresses that move naturally
- Textures like chiffon, linen, or cotton
- Simple, timeless silhouettes
The Style Guide includes direct inspiration so you can visualize how everything will look together. And if you ever feel unsure, you’re always welcome to send outfit options for feedback.
The goal is cohesive, effortless, and timeless...never overly trendy.
3. Gentle Posing & Natural Movement
You do not need to know how to pose.
I will guide you every step of the way with gentle direction that feels natural, never stiff or overly posed. My goal is to highlight your connection, your anticipation, and the beauty of this season.
If your spouse or children are joining, we’ll blend:
- Snuggles and laughter
- Natural movement
- Sweet candid moments
- A few classic portraits for grandma
Toddlers are always welcome and we keep things relaxed and playful so it feels enjoyable rather than stressful.
4. A Calm, Encouraging Atmosphere
Pregnancy can make you feel vulnerable. My sessions are intentionally calm, unrushed, and encouraging.
You’ll hear things like:
- “That looks beautiful.”
